FOR USE IN RAIL TRANSPORT
We supply locomotive sand for railway vehicles, which is used to improve traction in rail traffic. This locomotive sand corresponds nearly to the railway standard BN 918 224 of Deutsche Bahn AG. The sand is applied to the rails using a dosing device, which significantly increases the frictional resistance between the wheel and rail when braking and accelerating.
